Getting close to being finished

So I am about finished paper mâchéing, except for the hands and feet, and I started gessoing the legs since they were dry. I'm really hoping that tomorrow I'll be finished because this was supposed to be done yesterday.

Close to being done paper mâchéing!

Finished up the top half of the ribs on the right side. Started paper mâchéing the pelvis. Tomorrow I'll do another layer on the pelvis then start on the legs. I may go ahead and make the hands and feet with cardboard tomorrow, also. I think it's coming along really nicely. After I do all that, I'll flip it over and do the back of it.

Almost done with framework

These will eventually be the arms. Like the legs, I will make the joints look real as well with paper mâché...

These are the shoulder blades.

These pieces will go on the bottom of the spine to make a pelvis. Took me forever to get the shape right but I think it turned out pretty good.

Progress from Wednesday and Thursday. (Sorry they're not separate)

This ribcage was my first one, and from Tuesday. I didn't really like it, so I redid it (which took fooooreverrrr). My new ribcage is up there, and I taped my skull to the spine. I'll probably need to hot glue it so that it will stay, since it's heavy. I need to make the arms, legs and pelvis, then I'll start paper mâchéing.

Paper Mâché skeleton sketch

I did two different sketches for my paper mâché skeleton. They're both pretty much the same. I am hopefully going to do a Day of the Dead theme.  I would like to have a lace veil with a flower headband and a pretty bouquet to match the headband. I would like to add more stuff onto it, but I'm not sure what yet.
